Overview

- One encoder captures
the audio, video and data simultaneously using SecuritySpy
software.
- See hardware and SecuritySpy settings for specifics.
- This results in two separate files, one video with audio and
one data with audio.
- The files must be converted into streaming files or progressive
downloads.
- The files are transferred to the appropriate server and information
is updated in the database.
Due to the change in software, there are some changes in the set
up and scripting:
- Files are named with a "rename" script.
- All SecuritySpy files must be converted into QuickTime movies
before they will play properly.
- Data files are converted using a "combine" script because sometimes
SecuritySpy breaks the files up into 2 or 3 files instead of
one.
